The book addresses this culture that we have, which Scott and I have called artifact culture.

We train people to use tools like Figma or to do some kind of user journey process – and if I make this artifact, and I really think it through, and I deliver it, the world will change.

My ideas will get made, I will have an impact, right?

What's missing from that is I don't know what to make – I've got ideas, but I have to check them with other people in a cross functional team in order to make things that are impactful.

So the book primarily, the big theme is getting away from that artifact worship and getting into relational reality.
